Karen started working at Gunter Insurance in Sept 2010, as soon as her youngest Son was old enough to start Kindergarten. She achieved her first Broker license in 2012, giving her 12 years in the industry.
In 2019 Karen’s parents retired from Gunter Insurance, and she was welcomed into the HTM family. Prior to entering into the insurance industry Karen spent 4 years as the Front Desk Manager of a busy Fitness Center, which enhanced her customer service skills, multi-tasking, and ability to think quickly. In her spare time Karen enjoys walking, cottage time and yard work with focus on creating the perfect backyard oasis.

As an insurance professional with more than 10 years of experience, Scott has worked his way up from starting as a broker and later transitioning into the role of an agent. This experience has given him a detailed eye for insurance products, policies and procedures. Coming from a family-owned brokerage has also rewarded him with a unique outlook on the industry.
When Scott’s not busy protecting families from potential financial loss, you can find him playing guitar or singing his heart out.

Cameron was born and raised in Lindsay, Ontario. His love for his community led to him pursuing a career there as well. He is pleased to provide service to the Kawartha Lakes and surrounding areas. His journey in the insurance industry started in April of 2019. Previous to his life in insurance, he provided agricultural and small business lending solutions for a major bank, labored for a local cash crop farmer, and ran his own property maintenance company.
Cameron and his wife, Stacey, have 2 active boys that keep them busy. As a family they enjoy the outdoors, spending time at the family cottage swimming and fishing. He also actively participates in their kids’ extra curricular activities as a coach and volunteer.
Cameron is an avid learner and always likes to elevate his knowledge within the industry to keep up with trends and changes that are constantly evolving.

Amanda Hartin graduated from Fleming College in the Correctional Worker Program, and started her career working in Child and Youth services for several years. In 2009 a job opportunity arose in her family’s insurance business, started by her grandfather. Amanda jumped at the opportunity and has been an Insurance Agent since 2009 alongside her grandfather, father and mother.
She is passionate about helping people understand the importance of insurance, ensuring each individual’s insurance needs are met. Amanda also makes it her priority to help her clients when they have suffered a loss with providing guidance and a friendly familiar face.
Amanda was born and raised in a small town in the City of Kawartha Lakes where she and her husband are currently raising their two boys. She is passionate about spreading autism awareness, since her youngest son was diagnosed at the age of 3 with Nonverbal Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also enjoys spending her weekends reading, ATVing, and just quiet days with the family.
